life is too busy

So my life has officially gotten too busy! ;) I am still taking photos - however not as often as I'd like. being a wife, mom to 2 toddler boys, working full-time and selling Premier Designs jewelry has left me little time to play with my photography. Hopefully this spring - my jewelry money will allow us to purchase a new home and for me to purchase a new camera! ;) I'm scheduling some photography time over my holiday break . . . so maybe I'll finally have some pics to post.

the other day on my way home I kicked myself for not having a camera with me because the winter sunset was stunning. . . .

Sweet Baby Mara!

Today I had the pleasure of hanging out with Sabrina and Matt and their tiny sweet baby Mara and even the pups! Beautiful Mara is only two weeks old today and Mom and Dad are already pros! Thanks for a great afternoon!

new lens!

Happy Friday to me . . .my new lens came early! I didn't expect it until Monday. It is my first prime lens and I'm super excited to play with something new. Here are a few of my first shots - featuring the boys of course. :) I can't wait until tomorrow when I can shoot in natural light instead of the floor lamps.

so busy!!!

So much for posting daily! I've been working on processing a shoot I did about a week ago for client delivery. But here's a shot I captured over the weekend at work - just standard headshots for our upcoming production of Miles Gloriosus! But I liked how this one turned out. Thanks Chris - you ROCK!

This is from a few days ago - but wanted to continue my quest to post something everyday. I finally captured a shot of Drew - he is constant motion these days and half the time he "hams up" to the camera. Cute - but most of the time not what I'm trying to capture. This shot is when he was trying to remove the camera that has apparrently become attached to my face! LOL

I'm pretty sure that my children are beginning to believe that my camera is stuck to my face! :D
